- Anti-discrimination policies include a written
statement against discrimination based on sexual
orientation.
- If employee groups are generally recognized or
encouraged, employee groups based on sexual
orientation are given equal standing.
- Diversity training includes sexual orientation
issues.
- Spousal benefits equal to those of married
employees are offered to domestic partners
regardless of sexual orientation.
- Prejudice and negative stereotypes, based on
sexual orientation, are barred in advertising.
- The company does not discriminate in the sale and
purchase of goods and services on the basis of
sexual orientation.
- Accommodation is made for employees facing
life-threatening or disabling illness, including
those who are HIV positive.
- Written non-discrimination policies on sexual
orientation are distributed throughout the
company. A senior official monitors compliance
throughout the organization.
